Eddie F’s celebrates opening of second location in Saratoga County

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. — Local seafood eatery Eddie F’s celebrated the grand opening of its new Clifton Park location on Tuesday at a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce. 

The new restaurant, set at 1742 Rt. 9, is now open and offering all of the New England seafood favorites that customers have come to love in Saratoga Springs.

This expansion marks the restaurant's second Saratoga County location. Chef and owner Ed Fazzone originally started Eddie F’s in 2016 in the longtime “Pink Store” building at 119 Clinton St. on the west side of Saratoga Springs.

Since then, the business has built a large following of seafood-loving patrons and has grown to operate seasonally at Saratoga Race Course each summer.

In 2022, Fazzone was approached about taking over the Route 9 establishment, which was Harbor House Fish Fry for many years until it closed last fall, and decided to expand Eddie F’s.

Now, locals can once again visit this same spot for fish fry, as well as lobster rolls, whole belly clams, scallops and more.

The Clifton Park Eddie F’s, with walk-up window for soft serve ice cream, recently kicked off its weekly Cruise In car shows, which take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays through Sept. 26, weather permitting. 

Looking ahead, Fazzone is eager to share Eddie F’s with the Clifton Park community, and hopes customers will enjoy the restaurant’s casual atmosphere and high-quality seafood “the Eddie F way.”
