Hudson Falls, NY – Habitat for Humanity of Northern Saratoga, Warren, and Washington Counties (HFH-NSWWC) is excited to announce the launch of a $75,000 fundraising campaign to support an ambitious new project in Hudson Falls. The project involves the construction of a 3-bedroom, 1245 sq. ft. modular home on a lot HFH-NSWWC currently owns, marking the beginning of a neighborhood revitalization effort. The funds raised will also help secure an adjacent lot allowing us to build two homes concurrently, further expanding affordable housing opportunities in the community.
This volunteer-driven, donation-dependent project highlights the organization’s commitment to creating long-term, sustainable impact. Modular home construction will allow HFH-NSWWC to efficiently provide high-quality, affordable housing for two local families, setting the foundation for a revitalized neighborhood.
“As a nonprofit organization that receives no government operational funding, we rely entirely on the generosity of our donors, volunteers, and community partners,” said George Earle, Executive Director of HFH-NSWWC. “This $75,000 campaign will bring us closer to realizing our vision of affordable housing and community growth in Hudson Falls. Together, we can create homes, hope, and a brighter future for the families we serve.”
In addition to the current project outlined above, another lot just up the block is also available for purchase, presenting an exciting opportunity to expand the revitalization effort to a third home if we reach our goal! HFH- NSWWC is calling on businesses, community members, and supporters to help meet the $75,000 goal through donations, volunteering, and creative fundraising initiatives.
