ALBANY, N.Y., January 14, 2026 — KeyBank has named Joseph Philippone Home Lending Regional Leader and Phil Giguere has been promoted to Home Lending Market Sales Manager for the Capital Region.
Philippone oversees KeyBank’s home lending business across Upstate New York, including Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany. He leads a team of more than 20 Mortgage Loan Originators, responsible for driving strategic growth, developing talent, and expanding KeyBank’s presence through strong relationships.
Throughout his 15-year career at Key, Philippone has become known for his collaborative leadership style and unwavering commitment to team development. He is actively engaged across departments, contributing to recruiting efforts and participating in business priority meetings to support the bank’s growth and operational goals.
Giguere leads a team of mortgage professionals and is responsible for recruiting loan officer talent, developing relationships with realtors and housing agencies and helping new and existing clients with home lending solutions across the Capital Region. With 36 years of loan origination experience, he has extensive knowledge of lending products and requirements and understands the importance of building strong relationships with local real estate professionals.
An active member of the community, Giguere volunteers for Joseph's House Adopt-a-Family and delivers Thanksgiving meals to families for Equinox. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Binghamton University.
