Saratoga County Chamber proud to focus on our mission of sustaining Saratoga County's economic success

The staff and Board of Directors of the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce extend our best wishes to our friends and colleagues at both the Chamber of Southern Saratoga County and the Capital Region Chamber, in Albany, on the announcement of their vote to affiliate.

As we have for over 100 years, the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce is proud to focus on our mission of sustaining Saratoga County’s economic success. We have offices in both Clifton Park and Saratoga Springs that are staffed full time with professional Chamber executives.

Saratoga County today is one of the few counties in Upstate New York with a growing population, a thriving economy, and a worldwide brand that attracts millions of visitors and new residents all four seasons of the year. The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce is proud of the role we’ve played leading and working alongside our partners in the public, private and impact sectors to create one of the most vibrant and enviable economies in the US.

Leading the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce’s efforts in our Clifton Park office, Liz Roggenbuck and Denise Romeo are working daily with members both existing and new who share our passion for and commitment to Saratoga County’s continued success.

With their focus, the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a range of new programs in Southern Saratoga County, including: networking events; a members-only shred event; a nonprofit fair at the Clifton Park – Halfmoon Library; workshops on social media best practices; leads and business development groups; a meeting for hospitality leaders to help us design our tourism promotion efforts for 2020; the Malta Food Fest to support the Ballston Spa School District; and a new business-and-education partnership.

The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce’s Twin Bridges Council is meeting monthly with our next meeting at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, October 25th, at the Clifton Park – Halfmoon EMS facility.  Twin Bridges Council meetings are open to ALL members in Southern Saratoga County. The Twin Bridges Council recently met at the YMCA in Clifton Park with officials from the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) to advocate a micro-transit program to provide a new form of public transportation serving Clifton Park, Halfmoon, Mechanicville and Malta.

Next year in 2020, the Chair of the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors will be Kevin Hedley, who owns Hedley & Company, in Halfmoon. The Chair of our Chamber’s Board in 2022 will be Tara Pleat who is an attorney with Wilcenski & Pleat, in Clifton Park.

In the months and years to come, our Board of Directors and professional staff will continue to ensure that our Chamber innovates as an organization to meet the new demands of businesses and nonprofits.
