Holiday Ornament Festival at Pitney Meadows

Pitney Meadows Community Farm will turn its new “high tunnel” greenhouse into a festive facility for making holiday ornaments at the “Holiday Ornament Festival.” Families will find all of the materials they need to make a wide range of decorations, including pine-cone bird feeders, painted gourds, recycled wrapping paper from newspapers, and ornaments from such natural materials as pine cones, acorns, walnuts, berries, and seed pods. Horse-drawn wagon rides will be offered, as will hot chocolate, cider, Christmas cookies and other holiday refreshments. And the Saratoga Santa will make a special appearance around 2:15 p.m. to wish everyone “happy holidays!” Please pre-register at http://pitneymeadows.org.
