A new design of Linda's for carrying your dish to all those get togethers. Linda designed this 14" x 17" x 4.5" basket with a dual purpose in mind. The basket carries your dish that is protected with the lid. At your gathering, flip the lid over and use it as a bread basket. Students weave with natural and dyed reed, starting with the bottom basket. The weave is plain weave with color choices for accent. Next the lid is woven with dyed filler for accent to match the bottom basket. A shaker type handle for carrying is added last. There will be colors available to go with the reed color choices. Foil lasagna pan is included with supplies. At the end of the class you will be all ready for your next gathering. Instructor will bring all materials to make the basket and tools students will need during class. Students should wear comfortable clothing.
