Sound All Around Tuba

SOUND ALL AROUND TUBA a FREE CONCERT brought by The Philadelphia Orchestra for families with children ages 3-6! At the Gideon Putnam Ballroom Tuesday, August 7th TWO 45-minute concerts at 10am and 11:15am Nurture your child’s passion for music! Sound All Around is a great introduction for a youngster that features a musician of The Philadelphia Orchestra and award-winning storyteller Charlotte Blake Alston. The August 7th programs introduce the audience to the tuba and The Philadelphia Orchestra’s very own Principal Tuba, Carol Jantsch! Each concert is 45 minutes long and features singing, movement, storytelling, and listening. It’s a great way for kids, families, and daycares to have fun with music! The concerts will take place in the Gideon Putnam Ballroom (24 Gideon Putnam Rd, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). Attendance is free, but advance registration is required.
