Job Summary:
The Business Intelligence Analyst – Finance / HR is responsible for leading projects and delivering data-driven insights that support Finance, Human Resources, and Office functions. This role focuses on project management, process engineering, reporting, and visualization to improve operational efficiency, financial visibility, workforce analytics, and decision-making across administrative functions.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, proven project management capabilities, and experience translating complex business processes into actionable data solutions. This position works closely with Finance, HR, IT, and executive leadership to standardize reporting, optimize workflows, and implement scalable business intelligence solutions.

Essential Functions:
Project Management
- Leads and manages Finance, HR, and office-related BI and process improvement projects from initiation through completion.
- Coordinates project timelines, requirements, stakeholders, and deliverables across departments.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets financial, human resources, and administrative data.
- Develops standardized reports, dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations to support budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, compliance, and operational oversight.
- Provides ad-hoc analysis to support leadership decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Develops and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial performance, workforce metrics, and administrative efficiency.
- Ensures data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across Finance and HR reporting.
- Supports audit, compliance, and internal control reporting needs.
Process Engineering and Optimization
- Analyzes existing Finance, HR, and back-office processes, identifying inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for automation or improvement.
- Design and implement optimized workflows, controls, and data processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Support
- Works closely with Finance, HR, IT, and executive leadership to align analytics and reporting with business objectives.
- Serves as a liaison between departmental stakeholders and IT team to translate business requirements into BI solutions.
- Supports change management and user adoption of new reports, dashboards, and processes.
Technology and BI Tool Utilization
- Leverages BI platforms and data tools to automate reporting, improve data quality, and enable self-service analytics.
- Partners with IT and database teams to support data integration, validation, and governance across systems.
- Contributes to the ongoing enhancement of enterprise reporting and analytics capabilities.
Continuous Improvement
- Stays current on best practices in business intelligence, financial analytics, HR analytics, and process improvement.
- Proactively recommends and implements enhancements to reporting, processes, and analytical methodologies.
- Identifies opportunities to increase automation, standardization, and data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills:
- Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing technology-based projects. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), SQL, data analysis software, and project management tools is a plus.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability of data and reports.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, financial analytics, HR analytics, process improvement, or project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Human Resources, Data Analytics, or a related field required
