Life insurance Sales Support Specialist

Job Summary
Advisors Insurance Brokers (a.k.a. New York Long Term Care Brokers, LLC, an Integrity Company) desires to expand and develop its market share in the Life/Disability Insurance & Annuity market areas. The firm’s guiding goal is to provide high quality, timely, accurate, sales driven support to our producers. Candidate is expected to support existing producers, as well as to solicit business from existing or prospective producers, when possible. The ideal candidate will hold a NYS LAH license and have experience in either a producer or sales support role.

Duties

  • Prepare and send life insurance or annuity proposals/quotes/illustrations, applications/forms (incl. NY Reg. 60), marketing materials, etc., and perform associated follow up/outreach to determine outcomes
  • Educate producers on various life insurance & annuity product solutions available from our partner carriers
  • Check for appropriate licensing, continuing education requirements and company appointments for producers. Request necessary paperwork, etc. for producers, if not yet appointed with a specific carrier
  • Review and correct applications when submitted, and policies once issued, for accuracy
  • Take phone calls from, and make outbound phone calls to, producers for purposes of promoting our products and services, including new product developments, marketing resources, etc.
  • Become proficient in the various agency computer and operational systems (e.g. WinFlex, Ensight, Compulife, Annuity Rate Watch/Cannex, CRM (InfusionSoft/Keap), administrative system (Keller), etc.)
  • Occasional field work at trade shows and/or producer office visits may be requested
  • Participate in creation of/improvement to internally created promotional/marketing materials

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience in either a producer or sales support role preferred
  • NYS LAH license preferred
  • Associates degree or relevant industry experience preferred

Additional Information

Any sales in which candidate is involved during business hours require a 50/50 commission split with AIB

Candidate is eligible to participate in agency employee benefit plan, as well as an agency bonus plan

Compensation Range:

The general pay scale for this open position is $50,000-$60,000. Pay for a selected candidate will be determined within the pay scale based on one or more of the following factors: candidate’s experience, skill set, education level, and/or location.
