Communications/Social Media Coordinator

Do you have a background in public relations or marketing?  Is developing social media campaigns, press releases, and marketing materials right up your alley? You may have found your next job.

In this role, you’ll coordinate all public relations and marketing efforts. You’ll work with individual departments, the organization, the events committees, and talent acquisition to name a few. Print, radio, television, social media, and the web are some of the media landscapes your work will take place in.

You will use your superb writing skills to develop internal publications, the annual report, and newsletters. You’ll be responsible for researching and writing grant proposals and then tracking grants that are approved. This candidate will also identify and train people to participate as Saratoga Bridges representatives in the community.  You will support and coordinate representatives in trade shows, legislative days, Inter-agency Awareness Day, and other business and community events.

You will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related degree preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Public relations, Marketing, Promotions, or Fund-raising experience is preferred
  • Social Media and strong PC skills is required
  • Valid NYS driver’s license that meets Agency guidelines
