The Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation is looking for a full-time Marketing & Communications Coordinator.
PROFILE:

  • Organized, efficient, and professional.
  • Collaborative mindset, strong communications skills, adaptable.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Proven ability to support multiple positions.
  • Shows initiative and manages time well.
  • Ability to support organizational events, including occasional nights and weekends.
  • Knowledge of thoroughbred industry and aftercare is a plus but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide general administrative support to both marketing and development, including maintaining calendars, preparing materials, and managing volunteers.
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Grow, rebrand, and execute horse sponsorship program.
  • Coordinate event logistics, invitations, and on-site support.
  • Draft electronic communications, including E-newsletters, with guidance from the Marketing Manager.
  • Coordinate ad placements & coordinate media with trade publications and other outlets.
