As an Assistant Director of Residential Services, your responsibilities will include direct oversite of homes in the residential department, including ICF’s and IRA’s that are certified by OPWDD, for people with an Intellectual/Developmental disability. You are an excellent candidate if you have a working knowledge of the regulations that our homes operate under, have a drive for contributing to a great team, and have a focus on delivering quality supports.

The professional development of the Residential Manager’s team is a large focus of this position. Strong supervisors with great emotional intelligence develop great employees who love their work environment. Do you have what it takes to support supervisors in this way?

Must have

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social science, or administration.
• Three years of progressive management experience, including two years of experience working in a Residential program supporting people with a developmental disability. Five years of progressive management experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge of the delivery system of employment, day and residential services under OPWDD (ICF and IRA) strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license meeting the agency’s insurance requirements
