RN for our Day Service in Wilton
Our Wilton Day Services location is looking for a Registered Nurse. As the Arc in Saratoga County, Saratoga Bridges supports adults with developmental disabilities there. This is a Monday through Friday daytime nursing position. There are no evenings, no weekends and no on call. Be home for dinner. Do you have experience working with people with developmental disabilities and have a NYS nursing license? We'd love to see if this is a good fit for you.
In this role, some of the job responsibilities include
- Assessing and treating people for basic first aid
- Administering medications
- Documenting seizure activity, medication records, blood pressures and weights
- Tracks and reviews annual physicals
- Writes monthly summaries, quarterly, and annual reports
To be eligible for this position, you need to
- Be a Registered Professional Nurse in NYS
- Hold an associate's degree in nursing, or better from an accredited school
- Have a valid driver's license
- Have experience working with people with developmental disabilities (strongly preferred).
