Medical Trainer

Are you a Registered Nurse who loves teaching others? Saratoga Bridges is looking for a RN to train our non-medical employees. This is a full-time weekday position. You will be providing training to Direct Support Professionals who work with people who have a developmental disability. Some of the training topics are Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR and 1st aid, along with a NYS curriculum on medication administration. Experience developing curriculum, handouts, and PowerPoint presentations are a key part of this role. Scheduling and conducting medical in-services too. This person provides some assistance in health initiatives such as Hepatitis B vaccines and flu clinics for employees. 

This position requires:

• A valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint,
• The candidate must hold a valid NYS Nursing license. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of experience working with people who have a DD/ID preferred.
• Experience conducting staff training in the field of nursing preferred.

The starting payrate for this position is $34.00 to $40.00 per hour.
