We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dairy Manager to oversee the dairy department of our grocery store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring product quality, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties
- Manage daily operations of the dairy department, including inventory management and product placement.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Train and develop staff on product knowledge, customer service techniques, and operational procedures.
- Monitor sales trends and adjust inventory levels accordingly to maximize profitability.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting dairy products effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate promotions and ensure optimal product availability.
- Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and make informed decisions regarding ordering and stocking.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store management is preferred.
- Strong background in customer service with a focus on enhancing the shopping experience.
- Experience in training development to foster team growth and performance improvement.
- Proficiency in inventory management practices to ensure efficient stock control.
- Multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases.
- Solid organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
