Stocking Associate
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our store is well-stocked, organized, and clean. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the presentation of our products and supporting the sales team by providing excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for retail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Stock shelves with merchandise and ensure products are displayed neatly and attractively.
- Clean and organize stock areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Assist in unloading deliveries and accurately placing products in their designated locations.
- Collaborate with team members to manage inventory levels and assist with product rotation.
- Provide support to customers by answering questions about products and assisting with sales when needed.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory management and product ordering processes.
- Operate forklifts or other equipment safely when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to enhance customer service.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or stocking roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus, aiding in effective inventory management.
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous for enhancing customer interactions in diverse communities.
- Experience with operating forklifts or similar equipment is beneficial but can be trained on the job.
- A strong commitment to cleanliness, organization, and teamwork is essential for success in this role.
