The Produce Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and presentation of fresh produce within our retail environment. This position is responsible for overseeing the produce department, managing inventory, and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the produce department, ensuring high standards of quality and freshness.
• Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and product rotation to minimize waste.
• Train and develop team members in best practices for handling, displaying, and selling produce.
• Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new staff for the department.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote sales initiatives and enhance overall store performance.
• Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales trends and make informed decisions regarding product offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the produce section to create an inviting shopping atmosphere.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and product recommendations.
